Installation

1. Create a Power Automate environment

ShareControl Notifications is a Power Automate solution. In order to install it, you must have a Power Automate environment to install it in. Every Microsoft 365 tenant has a default environment, however, we advice to create a new production environment for this purpose. If you have multiple installations of our add-in (e.g. one for IFRS 16 leases and a separate for other contracts) and want to keep them separated, you need to create separate environments as well.

2. Create a service account

The notification solution also requires a service account which will execute the flows. This account will need access to the SharePoint site where the add-in is installed, the Power Automate environment, and be able to send emails using Outlook.

3. Import the solution

Finally, the solution must be imported to the newly created environment. Some further configuration might also be necessary depending on your installation of the add-in. The .zip file containing the solution is not available for download on this site. Please contact ShareControl for the file if you want to do this step yourself.
