3.2 Library
The libraries in ShareControl Contract are adapted to different types of contracts and agreements. In Library, you can configure libraries that are displayed on the left side of the library menu. You can hide the libraries you don’t need, create new libraries, or adding existing ones. It’s important that you select the relevant category for creating a library, as metadata varies in the different categories.
You can create a new library by entering the name of the library in the Create new field, selecting a category in the drop-down menu and then tap . You can get an overview of information about all fields in the selected category by pressing
.
Most categories have fields regarding payments, but it’s also possible to register contracts that don’t involve payments, such as rights, licenses, permits, etc. You can select the category, Contracts - Contracts without payments, to create a library where you can register contracts without payments.
Click on the right to rename a library and change the category. When finished, press
to save. Tap
to hide the library.
Hidden libraries can be made visible again, using the drop-down menu called, Choose existing. You unhide them by selecting them individually.
Layouts can be changed to, for example, collecting all contracts per company or department in a library and using the type of contract to sort by type of contract. Using the Power BI integration provides several opportunities for lookup, sorting and analysis.
