4.2 Using the funnel (filtering and sorting by metadata/columns)

The funnel is used by pressing the icon . Then you get the following choices:

The options displayed vary, depending on the type of metadata / column. The text-field allows you to enter optional text. If there’s a dropdown menu, you get the following image:

You can select the options you want, and use Select all or Remove all choices button to quickly select or unselect your choices.

The Show button applies your selections. Remove removes the filter in the column. Remove all removes all filters in all columns. The filter functionality will be inactive when you leave a library . An active filter will be shown by a yellow funnel.
